“Here at the Armadillo Hall, we want to create an atmosphere that is both musician and fan friendly..that’s why we chose the name Armadillo, because we want to turn back the clock to an era in Austin area music where it was ALL about the music….when things weren’t so commercial and everyone worked together simply because they loved the music….that was the philosophy in the days of the old Armadillo World Headquarters and we are attempting, in our own small way, to awaken that feeling again”.
